For the passengers of Uttar Pradesh, there is some really good news. 25 special trains will now be granted normal train status. Passengers won’t have to pay more now that the fares for these trains have been lowered.
Thousands of passengers have benefited from the railways’ decision to make 40 special trains regular even before this. The majority of these trains are those that travel via the Northern, North Central, and Northeast railroads. It now includes trains from the Ayodhya, Shahjahanpur, Barabanki, Kanpur, and Balamau lines.
This modification was planned by the railway administration in January, and the new schedule went into effect on January 1. Forty special trains were made regular at that time. Special trains typically have higher rates. On the other hand, regular rail travel is less expensive. As a result, the railways are currently getting ready to regularize the final 25 trains starting in July.
This choice will alleviate the daily suffering of roughly 15,000 passengers. During the Corona era, all of these trains were operated as special trains; however, they will now resume their regular operations.
