Yogi Adityanath Extends Development Boost to All UP Districts, Including Villages

In view of the increasing number of road accidents in Uttar Pradesh, various departments and local administration are taking unique initiatives for road safety.

Though at present no specific initiative is known to have been taken by the state animal husbandry department directly to prevent accidents on highways, several important steps have been taken by other departments and the local administration.

A new campaign will be started in all the districts of UP

Additionally, the state government has also implemented several other measures to enhance road safety. For example, the traffic department in Lucknow has set up a Training and Research Institute, which provides awareness and training related to road safety.

Also, strict action is being taken against those who violate traffic rules, which includes seizing vehicles and cancelling driving licenses. Road accidents often occur on the highway due to cattle and animals.In these accidents, along with the vehicle riders, cows and animals also suffer loss of life and property.

In order to prevent such accidents, the Animal Husbandry Department will run a month-long campaign from April 20 and put radium strips around the necks of cows and animals.Principal Secretary Animal Husbandry K. Ravindra Nayak said that radium strips will be installed after a one month campaign.

After this, a report will be prepared on whether the number of accidents has reduced or not in the areas where radium strips have been installed and this scheme will be given a concrete shape.

Through these initiatives, the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to reducing the number of road accidents and ensuring road safety. In the initial phase, after installing these strips, the results obtained from it will be assessed.

After this, in the next phase, radium strips will be applied on a larger scale to the cattle and animals in the villages along the highway.Road accidents often occur on highways due to cattle and animals.
