The intention of helping farmers and their dependents

Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has launched a new scheme for farmer families through which Mukhyamantri Krishak Accident Welfare Scheme has been extended.

Under this initiative, the Yogi government would now give ₹5 lakh in financial help to farmers who die in accidents and become crippled.

Today, the government would give 11690 farmers in the state Rs 5 lakh in financial aid. According to the government, it has also been decided to transfer Rs 562 crore to the accounts of the farmers’ dependant family members.

Farmers’ families in the Ambedkar Nagar district will receive financial assistance from the Yogi government through the Chief Minister Krishak Accident Welfare Scheme. The Krishak Accident Welfare Scheme would now be a lifesaver for these families in this regard.

In conjunction with the district’s development projects being inaugurated, the assistance amount will be transferred. Both the farmers and their families are covered by this program. It is crucial that applications be submitted within 45 days in order to receive the benefits of this scheme.

The government’s attempt to resolve the issues

Every home in the Ambedkar Nagar district should receive relief aid under this program, according to a tweet made by the chief minister himself on social media, and Rs 1184 crore has been set aside for 194 development projects.

The purpose of this program is to help the nation’s farmers. Under this initiative, the government would now compensate the family members of every farmer who suffers an accident while farming with ₹5 lakh.

The family members of the farmer who has lost one hand or one leg will receive this relief fund right away if the farmer passes away during this time or loses both hands and legs. In certain cases, their families will receive compensation if the eyes are harmed in any way.

For instance, in this concept, a farmer might be attacked by an animal or bitten by a snake while working, or he might be electrocuted, hit by lightning, or experience a flood, fire, or house collapse—in other words, he could become a victim of any disaster.Compensation will even be provided to the relatives of farmers killed in terrorist acts.
