UP: Farmers approved the purchase of land for the roadway

Farmers

Farmers in the state district have approved the purchase of land for the proposed national highway. The farmers have now called for restitution and a rise in the land’s circular rate. There is a request to meet with the government in order to raise the compensation sum.The administration is currently debating the call for a higher circle rate.

A significant phase in the development of the region

The projected National Highway 334D, which would run from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, to the Haryana border, is approximately 83 kilometers long. In order to build it, plans are currently underway to purchase the land of 28 villages in the Khair tehsil.

This highway’s construction will take place from Usrah, Arrana, Laxmangarhi, Chaudhana, Ainchana, Kiratpur, Jarara, and Bankner to Hamidpur, which are all along the route.

About half of the impacted farmers have consented to donate their land for the national highway, and ongoing talks are being held with the remaining farmers. The villages of Bankner, Ainchana, Usrah, and Chaudhana have all voiced their opposition to land acquisition.

Farmers now claim that the government is not doing anything to offer compensation in line with the actual circular rate of the land that is surrounded by the road, which is currently substantially higher.

Commencement of significant projects

SDM Khair Sumit Singh, meantime, stated that Tehsildar Khair has been promised to quickly come to an arrangement with the farmers in which the rate of compensation is not an issue, but that the higher authorities have been notified of the rates of compensation for the impacted area.

Farmers have also spoken with officials, and it is important to make sure that the administration takes into account their requests for more remuneration and a higher circle rate.

Farmers should receive fair recompense, and nothing should negatively impact their means of subsistence. On this subject, a proposal has been prepared and submitted to the government. Now that approval has been received, construction will begin. This program has also been well received by local officials and citizens.
