SBI PO post 2025: State Bank of India, which is a government bank, has released vacancies for 541 Probationary Officer (PO) posts. Candidates can fill the form by visiting the official website of the bank. Remember the last date to fill the form is 14 July 2025.

Educational Qualifications:

To apply for this post, candidates must have a graduation degree from any recognized university like BA, BSC, BCom etc.

Age:

To apply for this post, candidates age should be 21 to 30 years, that will be calculated as per the cut-off. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD

Process of selection:

There are many phases of exam for this post as shown below

Phase 1: Preliminary Exam(PE)

Only questions of an objective nature are included in this. About ten times as many applicants are selected for the next round, which serves as a screening phase.

It consists of following subjects:

  • Quantitative aptitude: It contains 35 questions of 1 mark each and time duration is 20 minutes.
  • Reasoning ability: It contains 35 questions of 1 mark each and time duration is 20 minutes.
  • English language: It contains 30 questions of 1 mark each and time duration is 20 minutes.

Phase 2: Main Exam(ME)

(1) Objective Test:

In this, there will be total 155 questions of 200 marks and time duration is 180 minutes

  • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude: It contains 40 questions of 60 mark each and time duration is 20 minutes.
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation: It contains 30 questions of 60 mark each and time duration is 45minutes.
  • General/Economy/Banking Awareness:It contains 50 questions of 60 mark each and time duration is 45 minutes.
  • English Language: It contains 35 questions of 30 mark each and time duration is 40 minutes.

(2) Descriptive Test:

  • Online type test
  • Email writing, report writing, situation analysis will be the topics
  • There will be 3 questions
  • Maximum marks is 50
  • Time duration is 30 minutes

Phase 3: Final Stage

  • Psychometric Test of 20 marks
  • Group Exercise of 30 marks
  • Individual Interview of 50 marks

Candidates must qualify in both Phase 2 and Phase 3 tests.

Final merit list will be prepared by normalising marks obtained in:

  • 75% weightage from Phase 2
  • 25% weightage from Phase 3

Phase 1 marks will not be considered for final selection
