New Bypass Coming to UP, Land Acquisition Underway

Several important bypass projects are underway to improve transport and traffic facilities in Uttar Pradesh.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stressed the need to build new bypasses in various districts of the state. This will reduce traffic congestion and promote regional development.

New bypasses will reduce traffic congestion within cities, thereby reducing travel time. Economic development. Better road connectivity will boost trade and industry. This will strengthen the local economy. Reduction in congestion will reduce pollution levels, which will have a positive impact on the environment.

The construction and maintenance of these projects will create employment opportunities at the local level. The way has been cleared for the construction of the much-awaited new bypass in Mainpuri, UP. The government has released the budget for the construction of the first package.

The land acquisition process will begin next month. In the first package, a 15.1 km long bypass will be built from Bhogaon area to Mainpuri-Etawah four-lane highway. After the construction of the new bypass, people will get relief from traffic jams in Mainpuri city on the four-lane highway.

People going to Agra from Kannauj, Farrukhabad, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri districts will get the gift of better travel on the bypass. The work of land acquisition will be completed with the Rs 59 crore allocated in the first installment.

Apart from this, in this budget, funds have been sent to the concerned departments for shifting of electric poles and cutting of trees. Land acquisition is likely to start soon.

Employment generation environmental benefits

In the second phase, a five km long bypass will be constructed from Etawah-Mainpuri four lane to village Jaramai of Dannahar area. PWD engineers inspected the zero point Bhadaura area and gathered information.

The traffic pressure on the Shikohabad-Bhogwan four lane highway is constantly increasing.The process to take the bypass starting from Bhogaon area out of Mainpuri city was completed.

This bypass is to be built in two phases. The government has released the budget for the first phase.The government has released the budget and approved Rs 69 crore in the first installment. Instructions have been given to start work with this amount.

The Public Works Department has focused on completing the formalities related to the tender process for the new bypass. The bypass starting near village Bhadaura in Bhogaon area will be taken out away from Mainpuri city.

Construction will be done in the first package to connect Bhogaon’s zero point to Mainpuri-Etawah four-lane highway. Rs 169 crore was sought from the government for this work.

These bypass projects will not only solve traffic problems but will also contribute to the overall development of the state.
