The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has launched several ambitious schemes to give a new direction to the tourism sector of the state. Under these schemes, a comprehensive rejuvenation plan has been made to promote tourism and urban development in six major districts. This initiative will not only strengthen the local economy.But it will also create new employment opportunities.
Other districts, spiritual and heritage circuits
These initiatives will generate new employment opportunities in tourism, construction, transport, handicrafts, and service sectors. Local artisans and entrepreneurs will get a boost. And the state’s economy will grow. Through these schemes, Uttar Pradesh will not only preserve religious and cultural heritage.
Rather, it will establish the state as a major tourist destination. The tourist places of Banda district will once again reach new heights. The government has sanctioned an amount of more than two crores for the development of six tourist places in the district. Work has also been started by preparing an action plan in these places.
The upgradation of the access road leading to Rangarh Fort in Naraini and the work of street furniture will be done. At the same time, the tourism development work of Kurseja Dham temple located in Tindwari of Banda district is also being done by the Tourism Department under the district plan.
Regional Tourism Officer Anupam Srivastava said that six projects are underway for tourism development in the district.The tourism development work of Bhadebaba site in village panchayat Mudwara of block Kamasin of tehsil Baberu of district Banda has been approved on state sector by Legislative Council member Jitendra Pratap Singh.
Sadar MLA Prakash Dwivedi will develop the tourism of Siddh Baba Sthan in village Sohana Ganchha development block Barokhar Khurd tehsil Banda Sadar of district Banda. Employment generation and local development are being given priority under tourism and urban development schemes in Uttar Pradesh.
Through these initiatives, not only the local economy is being strengthened, but new employment opportunities are also being created in rural and urban areas. To overcome the lack of employment opportunities in rural areas, the government has launched several schemes.
Through these schemes, rural youth are being provided skill training, agricultural productivity is being improved, and local enterprises are being promoted. This not only provides employment to rural youth, but they are also becoming economically self-reliant in their villages.
Rural Development and Employment
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has described small industries as the backbone of the state’s economy. He said that employment generation and economic self-reliance of families is possible only through small industries. The Uttar Pradesh government launched the One District One Product Scheme in 2018.
Through which traditional industries have been encouraged. As a result of this scheme, the state’s exports have increased 250 times. Apart from this, under the MSME policy, entrepreneurs do not need any NOC for 1000 days. Which is helping them in setting up business.
The tourism development of Karubaba Bhagwan Temple located in Chandaura village panchayat of the Naraini development block of the district will be done with the efforts of regional MLA Ommani Verma.
Similarly, the tourism development of the birthplace of Rishi Vedvyas located in Gram Panchayat Lasda/Vasdhari has been approved by Minister of State for Jal Shakti/MLA Tindwari Ramkesh Nishad. To remove the plight of tourist places, the government had sought action plans from all the districts of Bundelkhand.
In some places, financial approval was not received for a long time. Recently, financial approval has been received. In Banda district, 6 projects have been approved in the financial year 2024-25 under the Tourism Department. Special schemes have also been made for employment generation in urban areas.
Under the proposal, urban local bodies have been given the responsibility of decentralised employment generation. In this, employment opportunities are being provided to local youth in urban waste collection, sanitation, and construction of public infrastructure.This is reducing urban unemployment and improving the cleanliness of cities.
