Which has been described in the local media as officers being shuffled like cards.This change has been taken with the aim of strengthening law and order in view of the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections.

DM Ravindra Kumar, who was in Bareilly for about 18 months and 18 days, has been transferred. Now IAS Avinash Singh has been made the DM of Bareilly. Ravindra Kumar maintained better coordination with the public representatives.
