Road construction in UP, travelling to villages will become easier

Uttar Pradesh: People who have been facing problems due to bad road on Ramaidih Mudila-Mishridih road for years are going to get relief soon. This road construction at a cost of about Rs 18.71 lakh before the coming rains. As soon as the road repair work started, a wave of happiness has spread in the area.

The road from Ramaidih Mudila to Gram Panchayat Mishridih in Siddharthnagar district had been completely broken down for the past several years. Walking on this road full of potholes had become a big challenge for people every day.

Especially during the rainy season, this road becomes even more dangerous due to mud, waterlogging and slippery conditions. For a long time, the villagers were demanding the repair of this road but their voices remained unheard.

The local people lodged complaints several times to the public representatives and administrative officials. They raised this issue on every platform from Panchayat meetings to Tehsil Diwas.Finally, his efforts paid off when the Public Works Department (PWD) prepared a detailed proposal for the construction of this road and sent it to the government.

The process has gained momentum after getting the approval of the government.Area residents Anup Pandey, Rajendra, Dharamprakash, Mohit and Vicky said that this road is the only way to connect the nearby villages to the main roads. Villagers travel through this road to go to school, market, hospital and for other important works.

During the rains, this road turns into a swamp and everyone from children to the elderly has to face problems. Many times, even the ambulance could not reach the village.He said that due to the bad condition of the road, the condition of vehicles deteriorated and people had to face extra expenses.

Many two-wheeler drivers even fell and got injured. Women and elderly people of the village used to avoid passing through this road.Giving information, PWD Executive Engineer Rajesh Kumar said that “an approval of Rs 18.71 lakh has been received from the government.

He said that the department has also started the tender process for the construction work. He said that the target has been set to complete the construction work before the monsoon, so that people do not have to face any kind of problem during the rainy season.

He also assured that there will be no compromise on quality in road construction. Arrangements for drainage will also be made along the road so that there is no problem of waterlogging in future.The construction work will be carried out under the supervision of departmental engineers and improvements will be made as per the need by taking feedback from the villagers.

The construction of this road will not only facilitate the movement of villagers but will also make access to business, education and health services in the area easier. Local farmers will be able to transport their products to the market quickly, which will increase their chances of getting better prices.
