The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has expressed the expectation that the development work done in the areas should be thoroughly investigated and the reality should be deeply considered. A report should be submitted on any kind of irregularities and shortcomings.
This will make it clear that the benefits of the schemes are reaching the beneficiaries and there is no delay in development work and an atmosphere of corruption is not being created.
By sending officials to aspiring districts and aspiring development blocks, the work of knowing the ground reality of the changes taking place there has been done.
At the high level, eight different responsible officers at the level of Principal Secretary and Secretary will go on a three-day visit to the eight aspiring districts.
The Chief Minister further said in the meeting on Wednesday that it is the priority of the government to provide the benefits of service and development to the last person in the village through these programmes run by NITI Aayog.During this period, 108 selected officers will visit the aspiring development blocks especially for development works.
The Chief Minister said that it is hoped that with the active participation of the officials, it will become easier to evaluate the true and correct story of development of aspiring districts and aspiring blocks.
This will improve the effectiveness and transparency of the schemes in future, so that necessary corrective measures can be taken and development work can be expedited.
This inspection process should be completed as soon as possible. Instructions were given to ensure the responsibility and accountability of CM Fellow in the development blocks.
He said that the work of CM Fellows should be monitored weekly. The reality of the changes will now be tested on the ground and not on paper.There should be no vacancies in the posts of Block Education Officer, BDO, CDO, Medical Officer, Veterinary Officer, ADO Panchayat and other posts in the aspiring districts and aspiring development blocks. During this time, wherever vacant posts are monitored, immediate deployment should be done there.
