A resolution has been taken to connect 25 lakh farmers through this scheme. This year, a target has been set to expand this scheme and provide this facility to farmers engaged in farming.
The government has presented its point with transparency. Beneficiary farmers of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be given credit cards.Now no farmer will be deprived of crop loan and other facilities. The central government claims that orders have been issued to link all eligible farmers with the KCC scheme.

Under this scheme, when farmers get loans at low interest rates, then the farmers of the country will be able to fulfill all their needs like irrigation, pesticides, fertilizers and seeds.

Uttar Pradesh and Central government are organising camps in different districts to identify farmers and issue KCC cards to them.This will directly benefit thousands of farmers and bring economic strength to the agriculture sector.
This card will prove to be helpful and effective in providing farmers the facility to withdraw cash from the bank and make purchases as per their needs.The government has promised to give interest rebate up to 4%, which will facilitate withdrawal and purchase as per need.
