The government has taken a big step to repair the dilapidated and dilapidated roads of urban and rural areas. The dilapidated Sadak will be brightened at a cost of Rs 290 crore
The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to spend more than Rs 290.45 crore to improve the condition of major roads in the state. The approval of this amount has been kept at the government level.
Let us tell you that with this amount, an attempt is being made to widen 96 rural and district roads and roads of other 6 districts. Regarding this construction work, the Public Works Department has instructed the government that the work under the roads being built with this amount should be completed within the stipulated time.
In this, the officers will continue the process of investigation from time to time by visiting the spot and showing these works carefully, from quality and strength. The work plan was delayed in the financial year 2024-25 of the Public Works Department, the work which was to be completed by the month of April will be done from the month of September.
For this construction work, the departmental minister had raised the issue of preparing a work plan for the construction of these roads by the public representatives and the district administration in a meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Regarding which, in the month of October, the government had approved and stamped the work plan.
Government’s clampdown on road repairs
In his speech, CM Yogi said that this budget will be used especially for those dilapidated houses.
Which are in damaged condition since many years and people, pedestrians and all responsible vehicles were facing problems in commuting, in this regard the major roads will be renovated under the Public Works Department and Smart City Project.
Businessmen and local citizens welcomed and congratulated this ambitious project of the government.The government believes that this project will prove to be a milestone in easing traffic, reducing road accidents and boosting business activities, especially in solving the problem of waterlogging during the coming rainy season.
With this amount, Lipulekh Bhind road in Shahjahanpur, Firozabad-Bharatpur border road, Sitapur Gola road in Kheri, Mathura Sadabad road in Hathras, Puwaiyan-Dataganj road will be widened.
Now, heavy vehicles will feel comfortable in speeding on these roads because there used to be heavy traffic jams on these roads leading to terrible road accidents and pedestrians had to face great difficulty in commuting. Now, the UP government has resolved the traffic jam on these roads by taking big decisions.
