Long Vande Bharat Express will run from Gorakhpur
The high speed train Vande Bharat has reached Gorakhpur in UP. A new centimeter high speed train with 16 coaches has been installed in it. The eight coach Vande Bharat train already running on the Prayagraj and Gorakhpur route will pick up speed on the Gorakhpur-Patna route.
The railway administration has started preparations for Vande Bharat. This will facilitate the travel of the people of the state and Bihar. According to the information received, a thorough inspection and survey is being done of the 16 coach Vande Bharat that reached Gorakhpur city.
After being satisfied after technical testing, it has been decided to run a new rake. Preparations are being made as to from which date the train will run. The first new Vande Bharat rake will run on Gorakhpur Prayagraj route.
After the eight coach rake running on Prayagraj and Gorakhpur route becomes empty, it has been scheduled to run on Patna Gorakhpur route.This train will run on Gorakhpur, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Muzaffarnagar, Patna rail route.
Comfortable arrangements, modern security, high speed and better arrangements have been included in this train. This will give more passengers the opportunity to travel.
Train with 16 coaches departed from Gorakhpur
Seeing this new arrangement at Gorakhpur railway station, passengers and railway officials welcomed it enthusiastically. Passengers appreciated the facilities of the train and said that a big work of the railways was successful.
This train will leave Gorakhpur at 4:00 am and return at 9:00 pm. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, who came to inspect Gorakhpur and Bettiah, had talked about running a new Vande Bharat train between Gorakhpur and Patna.
The minister said that it is important to know that a fully customized high speed train built with indigenous technology should have 8 and 16 coaches. Apart from the air-conditioned chair car, now sleeper Vande Bharat is also being made.
On 7 July 2023, the Modi government at the Center flagged off the eight-coach Vande Bharat train from Gorakhpur Junction. Initially, this train used to run to Lucknow via Ayodhya, in view of the demand of the passengers, its route was extended to Prayagraj.
In the coming days, Vande Bharat trains will start running on almost all major routes including Gorakhpur, the headquarters of Northeast Railway.
Apart from the Sleeper Vande Bharat between Gorakhpur to Delhi and Agra, the departments and state governments have completely cleared the way for running 7 Vande Bharat and 2 Amrit Bharat trains to Prayagraj via Varanasi tomorrow, a total of 17 trains.Preparations are being made to run pink coloured sleeper Vande Bharat between Gorakhpur and Delhi.
