The number of devotees has significantly increased since the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, was built. Many visitors from both domestic and foreign countries see Lord Ram every day.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken significant action to transform Ayodhya into a smart and secure city in light of this.
Ayodhya’s city administration and security will now be further reinforced. Ayodhya and Faizabad will get a total of 1000 new CCTV cameras installed as part of the government’s Smart City initiative.
The total cost of this project is Rs 56 crore. The installation of these cameras will be concentrated on crowded places that are deemed important from a security perspective.Temples, marketplaces, train stations, bus stops, and other public areas will all be monitored by these cameras.
The Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) and the Municipal Corporation will work together to construct a contemporary control room. This control room will display a live feed of every camera. Every action will be monitored by the administration and police force.
Additionally, the control room will promptly notify the relevant department of any issues, such as waterlogging or broken street lights, that occur around the city.
It is noteworthy that Ayodhya already has over 1300 CCTV cameras installed as part of the Safe City Scheme. The ITMS (Integrated Traffic Management System) installed in Amaniganj’s Jalkal office is linked to these cameras. In addition, numerous cameras have been placed in private residences and businesses that are currently linked to a common digital network.
Puneet Ojha, Chief Engineer of the Municipal Corporation’s construction department, informed that “as soon as the final approval is received from the government, work on this scheme will be started rapidly.”
The importance and devotion to Ayodhya have been steadily growing since the Ram temple was inaugurated last year.In light of this, the Yogi government aims to transform Ayodhya into a religious city with all the amenities of today so that pilgrims and tourists can enjoy unique amenities in addition to their faith.
