CM Yogi has announced several important projects to give a new direction to Gorakhpur in the field of tourism.
Through which Gorakhpur will be developed as a major tourist destination.To develop it as a smart city, infrastructure like water supply, sewage, roads and public transport are being improved.
Gorakshanagari will shine in the field of tourism
In Gorakhpur, places like Mahant Digvijay Nath Park and Champa Devi Park have been prepared for public events. Apart from this, a modern auditorium is also being set up for artists.
Tourism related infrastructure is being improved in Gorakhpur, which includes development of transport, housing and other facilities. CM Yogi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 147 projects related to road connectivity and tourism in Gorakhshnagari on April 19.
Out of these projects worth Rs 1,500 crore, inauguration of 52 development projects worth Rs 438 crore 38 lakh 7 thousand and laying of foundation stone of 95 projects worth Rs 1,060 crore 98 lakh 83 thousand are included.
The CM Yogi Adityanath will also address the public meeting at this function to be held in Manbela. Through these projects, Gorakhpur will be developed as a major tourist destination.
This will not only benefit the local economy but will also provide new employment opportunities to the people here.Under the Amrit program, a sewerage project worth more than Rs 233 crore 89 lakh is also to be inaugurated.
In the series of infrastructure projects, the Bansgaon area of the district will also get the facility of a 50-bed combined hospital. CM Yogi Adityanath will also lay the foundation stone for the work of upgrading the trauma center of the medical college and the expansion work of the district hospital.
Road connectivity will increase
Gorakhpur, also known as Gorakshanagari, is now making a new identity in the field of tourism. With the development of religious, cultural and natural heritage on the initiative of CM Yogi Adityanath, this city has now become a center of attraction for tourists.
This temple is famous as the Tapabhoomi of Baba Gorakshanath. Every year lakhs of devotees come here. Especially on the occasion of Makar Sankranti and Mahashivratri. This major reservoir of Gorakhpur has now been developed for boating and water sports.
Tourists can spend time with their family here. This place is a major center of Radha-Krishna devotion. Here Hari Naam Sankirtan goes on continuously. The flow of devotion has been flowing here since 1934.
The wonderful world of planets and constellations can be seen here.This place is a special center of attraction for children and science lovers. Under the Chief Minister’s Tourism Promotion Scheme, nine major temples of Gorakhpur have been renovated.
These include Mahadev Jharkhandi Temple, Tarkulha Devi Temple and Shiva Temple located in Pipraich.About ₹3.36 crore has been spent on these projects. These development works have increased local employment and devotees are getting better facilities.
