The process of acquiring land of 12 villages has started for building a highway in UP. The prices of village land are now expected to be very high through the project. A plan is being made to speed up the journey by building a six-lane highway.
The construction of the highway and package four from Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh to Bareilly will start soon, but for this, the land of 12 villages of Badaun will first be given to the National Highway Authority of India and the construction company.
Now the contractors will start work within about five months. This highway, which connects Mathura to Hathras, Badaun and Bareilly, will be built by the National Highways Authority of India.
At present, the 37 km long fourth package highway is to be constructed between Badaun and Bareilly. Currently, an agreement has been reached on some matters between the National Highways Authority of India and Haryana’s Dhariwal Buildtech Limited Company.
Now the company has to start work by October, which will happen within five months. Currently, this construction is expected to cost around Rs 600 crores.
The price of land is skyrocketing
According to the information received, a total of 33.43 hectares of land is being acquired in Ghatpuri, Chandan Nagar, Dumera, Rasoolpur, Walkerpur ruins, Rahma, Ujhaili, Karatauli, Dhakiya, Malgaon, Qutubpurthara, Binawar villages of Badaun city.
A compensation of Rs 60 crore has been planned for the local people, out of which, so far, compensation of Rs 5 crore has been distributed at the ADM Finance and Revenue level.
In which the process of giving compensation to the farmers is still going on. At the same time, the people of the village have expressed diverse reactions to this tribunal. Local people say that this is development. And some local people are happy to see it as an increase in land prices.
According to current information, this can also lead to a huge increase in the land prices of these villages. Locals hope that Chhailen will become a highway from Mathura to Bareilly and the journey will be made even easier.
