Infrastructure plays the most important role in the progress of the country and when it comes to the development of districts, construction of roads is a link that not only facilitates transportation but also speeds up economic activities.
Better roads connect villages to cities. This makes it easier for farmers to transport their produce to markets.
There will be no shock till Ayodhya
Under the new schemes and budget provisions announced by the government recently, priority is now being given to the development of roads in various districts of the country. Under this, a target has been set to improve the roads of both rural and urban areas.
Construction and repair works are being speeded up at every level, from main roads to panchayat level lanes. There will be no setbacks while travelling by road from Gorakhpur to Ayodhya. The work of digging up the damaged road of 45 km length in Gorakhpur and Basti division and constructing a new road has started.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is carrying out the work. Rs 140 crore will be spent on this. The target has been set to complete the work before the rainy season begins. The length of the national highway from Gorakhpur’s zero point Kalesar to Ayodhya is 110 kilometers.
According to NHAI, the road condition is very bad in 30 kms in Basti and 15 kms in Gorakhpur and Sant Kabir Nagar. The condition of the road is the worst in Basti.Last year, there was a lot of trouble due to bad roads during the rainy season.
Now a network of roads is being laid under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana, Bharatmala Yojana and local development schemes of the state governments.A special cell has been set up in every district for monitoring development works which is responsible for completing the work within the time limit.
Along with the government, citizens will also have to cooperate in road development such as demanding transparency in construction works, monitoring quality, and spreading awareness.
Now roads will be developed in districts
Roads are not just roads, they are doors to possibilities. When roads are developed at the district level, the pace of development of the entire country increases. The steps being taken today are laying the foundation of a developed and strong India of tomorrow.
The four-lane road from Gorakhpur to Lucknow was constructed about 20 years ago. The road has been built with asphalt as well as CC. During the rainy season, potholes are formed at many places on the road.
The potholes that were formed last year were filled by patching but in view of the problem again during the rainy season, it was decided to re-build the damaged road. From Gorakhpur to Ayodhya, with the help of modern machines, the upper layer of the road is being dug up in a thickness of 50 to 100 millimeters.
After this, a new road is being built so that its strength becomes better. This will also provide great convenience to the devotees going to Ayodhya Dham. Good roads make it easier to reach schools and hospitals. Construction work provides employment to local people and also increases business activities.
There are hidden tourist spots in many districts. These can emerge on the national and international map through better roads. Tourism is not only a means of entertainment. It also plays an important role in the economic, social and cultural progress of any country or state.
In today’s global era, promoting tourism is an important step towards self-reliance and prosperity for any nation. Tourism is not limited to just traveling from one place to another.
It is an experience that introduces people to new cultures, traditions, food, and lifestyles. When a tourist visits a place, he uses the hotels, taxis, shops, and local services there, which boosts the economy of that area.
