The Uttar Pradesh government has given the green light to the Chitrakoot Link Expressway project, with an estimated investment of ₹939 crore.

In a major step toward accelerating development in Bundelkhand, the Uttar Pradesh government has approved the construction of the Chitrakoot Link Expressway.

Estimated at a cost of ₹939.67 crore, the project is expected to play a key role in boosting regional infrastructure and unlocking new avenues for economic growth.

What’s the Plan?

The proposed expressway will span approximately 15.172 kilometers, beginning from Bharatkoop in Chitrakoot district on the Varanasi-Banda highway (NH-35/76) and extending to Ahmedganj village on NH-135BB.

The expressway will be constructed as a 4-lane corridor under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model, ensuring speed and quality in delivery.

₹939 Crore Investment

With a whopping investment of nearly ₹940 crore, this expressway is not just another road, it’s a symbol of long-term growth.

548 Days Completion Target

Construction contracts will be awarded through a competitive bidding process. Once the project kicks off, developers will have 548 days to complete the expressway.

Plus, the winning contractor will be responsible for its maintenance for five years after completion.
