A unique wedding in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh became a topic of discussion. In the wedding of the SDM (Sub-District Magistrate) of Kushinagar, the groom arrived to pick up his bride by helicopter, which left the people present at the ceremony surprised.
A large number of villagers gathered to see the bride being sent off from a helicopter, who were eager to see this unique farewell. The Nikah of Sultanat Parveen, a resident of the town and SDM of Mahoba, was solemnized with gold merchant Muhammad Raza Khan on Wednesday night with great pomp and show.
A large number of people had gathered to see the groom who came to the wedding by helicopter from Lucknow. The SDM’s Nikah has become a topic of discussion in the area. He brought his bride to the village by helicopter, due to which a huge crowd gathered to see him.
The people of the girl’s side greeted him by garlanding him. SDM’s brother Altaf Khan, Naseem Khan, Feroz Khan, Javed Khan, Danish Khan, Ayan Khan etc. gave a grand welcome to the groom at the helipad. Elephants, horses and musical instruments were also arranged in the premises for the welcome.

Preparations for the Nikaah were going on for the past several days. A helipad was built for the helicopter to land at the Genda Kheli ground in Salemgarh. When the helicopter of the groom, a resident of Lucknow, arrived here at 5 o’clock, a crowd of onlookers gathered.
People greeted the groom by waving their hands as he got down from the helicopter. The police administration took the groom to the resting place from the helipad in a Thar vehicle under their supervision. After about 45 minutes the helicopter went back.
The crowd dispersed only after the helicopter left. People had started gathering at the Genda Kheli ground from 2 pm, three hours before the groom’s scheduled arrival time of 5 pm. Women, elderly, children etc were the main participants. Shamim Khan, father of SDM Sultanat Parveen, said that the marriage took place after 8 pm.
