Registration for plots has started in Lucknow Development Authority’s Anant Nagar (Mohaan Road) housing scheme, proposed in 785 acres at a cost of ₹6,500 crore in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated it. During this, the CM said that providing affordable housing facility is the need of the hour. 1.5 lakh people will get housing facility in Anant Nagar (Mohaan Road) housing scheme.
In a post on the social media site X, the CM said that better ease of living and affordable housing facilities are the first priority of the double engine government. In this series, today on the auspicious occasion of Vasantik Navratri, the registration for plots in Anant Nagar (Mohaan Road) housing scheme equipped with state-of-the-art facilities of Lucknow Development Authority, proposed in 785 acres at a cost of ₹ 6,500 crore in Lucknow, was launched. Congratulations to the people of the district!
The CM said that the Lucknow Development Authority has succeeded in bringing this huge housing scheme in an area of around 800 acres at a cost of Rs 7000 crore and that too in Lucknow where the international airport is nearby and the expressway and Lucknow Ring Road are connecting to it, under an integrated town planning more than 100 acres of land has also been reserved to establish it as an education hub and arrangements have been made to provide high rise residential facilities as well as vacant plots for every section of the society, which is a highly commendable effort.
He said that it is the first priority of the double engine government that people should get good housing facilities and the quality of living should improve. Prime Minister Modi has taken big steps in this direction in the country in the last 10 years. Along with bringing new technology in the housing sector and giving it a state-of-the-art look, making it available before time and providing affordable housing facilities is the need of the hour and in accordance with that need, the Lucknow Development Authority has taken this program forward in Lucknow.
CM said that today the world has changed in e-technology. Earlier, it used to take up to 10 years to build a high rise building, but today its structure can be built in a few months and better residential facilities can be provided to the people. Just two years ago, a good project of Light House was implemented by the Municipal Corporation in Lucknow. This scheme was based on the latest technology. The work of the scheme did not stop even during the Covid period. It kept moving forward continuously and our effort should be that Anant Nagar Yojana should also be equipped with new technology in the same way.
