The Uttar Pradesh government is working rapidly towards building an industrial corridor along the Ganga Expressway in the Soraon area of ​​Prayagraj. For this, concrete steps have been taken towards setting up industries by purchasing land from farmers.

The pace of development in Uttar Pradesh has now increased further. The government has started giving concrete shape to the plan to build a new industrial corridor at the Prayagraj end of the Ganga Expressway.

For this, Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has so far released Rs 166 crore for land acquisition. Out of this, Rs 66 crore has been given to the farmers in exchange for their land.

Along with the industrial units, there is also a plan to set up Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) and medical institutes in this corridor, so that the local youth can get both training and employment.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself is monitoring the progress of this ambitious project. Recently he visited two sites and also did a field inspection of the project, which makes it clear that the government is giving priority to this work.

About 101.5 hectares of land has been identified for this project in Judhapur Dandu, Badi Sarai Hariram, Madhopur Malak Chaturi and Sarailal Khatoon (Holagarh) villages under Soraon tehsil of Prayagraj district.

Of these, 94.94 hectares of land belongs to farmers and 6.55 hectares is government land. So far, 18.86 hectares of land has been transacted and the process of acquisition of the remaining land is progressing rapidly.

Prayagraj District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar Mandhad said that regular meetings are being held with UPDA officials and the project is being constantly monitored.

He also clarified that the entire process of land acquisition will be completed soon so that there is no hindrance in the construction work.It is worth noting that the Ganga Expressway will start from Meerut and extend till Judhapur Dandu in Prayagraj, which will establish fast and easy connectivity between Purvanchal and Western Uttar Pradesh.

This project will not only boost the infrastructure but will also open new avenues of investment in the state and provide employment opportunities to thousands of people.
