UP:Farmers made special demand regarding the ring road

Ring road

The ring road, which connects Chandauli to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, is a good option for travellers, but it is now a big problem for local farmers. Agriculture has faced new challenges due to this scheme.

Agriculture and farming have faced new challenges due to this scheme. Farmers of Shakurabad, Sultanipur and Mawai Kala villages are now finding it very difficult to get fertile land.

Villagers say that underpasses and service roads were not built when the ring road was constructed, due to which it has now become very difficult to reach the fields.

Now farmers have to walk several kilometers to reach their fields, whereas earlier they could go directly to their fields. This directly affects their expenses, time and effort. The villagers have appealed to the administration several times regarding this problem.

There have been protests as well, but nothing has happened so far.Villagers say that they had already demanded an underpass and a service road to save 900 acres of fertile land.

Promises were made several times by the NHAI and the administration to take over the land, but no concrete action has been taken so far.The villagers have united again and demanded the government and the local administration to build a service road along the Ganga and an underpass on the ring road as soon as possible. The farmers clearly say that apart from the villages, the economy of the entire region will also be affected if farming is disrupted.
