The government has taken an important step to make the way to Ayodhya in the country smooth. Under this project, the main roads will be widened. So that the traffic pressure is reduced and time can be saved in travel.
However, a big environmental issue is also associated with this project. It has been decided to cut down 2100 green trees for road widening. This is raising questions about environmental balance.
2100 green trees will be cut down
Under this project, it has been decided to cut down 2100 green trees for road widening. These are the main routes for travellers going to Ayodhya. This has become a matter of serious concern for environmental experts and wildlife lovers.Because it can adversely affect the local ecosystem due to large-scale felling of trees.
The route from Salon in Raebareli to Ayodhya will be smooth. For this, the exercise to make the Salon-Jagdishpur road four-lane has been expedited. While on one hand compensation is being distributed to the farmers, on the other hand the process of removing 2100 trees falling under the purview of widening has been started.
The forest department has started the work of marking the trees falling under the purview of widening. Forest Officer Salon Shyam Sundar Tripathi says that trees will be removed to make Salon-Jayas road a four lane road. Which Prajapati trees are planted, its survey is being done. The report will be submitted to the Forest Corporation soon.
About 2100 trees are coming under the scope of widening which of these are Prajapati trees. The Forest Department will prepare a report on this and send it to the Forest Corporation. After this, the Forest Corporation will start the work of removing the trees.
At present, the people of Pratapgarh are facing the most problems. If someone has to go from Pratapgarh to Ayodhya, he passes through Raebareli district headquarters. For this, they have to travel a distance of 40 to 50 km.
The way to Ayodhya will be easy
Many environmental activists have opposed this decision, appealing to preserve greenery. They say that these trees not only protect the environment but are also important in terms of purifying the air, climate control, and biodiversity.
Cutting down these trees can increase pollution and adversely affect the regional climate. A 53 km four-lane will be built from Salon to Jagdishpur. Its construction will connect Rae Bareli-Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli-Sultanpur and Rae Bareli-Ayodhya highways.
Right now all three highways are separate, due to which people have to face traffic problems. With the construction of four-lane highway, people of Salon, Amethi, Pratapgarh will be able to go to Ayodhya Dham easily.
To go from Salon to Ayodhya, people have to take the two-lane road of Salon-Jagdishpur, this causes traffic jams. On the way, people have to face traffic jams in Parsadepur, Nasirabad and Jais and Jamo of Amethi district.
Now the Salon to Jagdishpur highway will be made four lane. This will solve the problem of traffic jam and the journey will also be smooth.
