Uttar Pradesh: The Uttar Pradesh government has initiated an ambitious scheme with the aim of promoting quality and modern education in the state. Under the “Mukhyamantri Composite School Scheme”, schools equipped with integrated and technical facilities for classes 1 to 12 are being established in various districts of the state. In such a situation, now Azamgarh, an important district of Purvanchal, is also going to be a part of this historic education campaign. The government has speeded up the process of establishing 4 Chief Minister Composite Schools in the district. The administration has also selected the land for the four schools, here is the list:-

11 hectares of land in Asghara Mustafabad located in Mirzapur block of Nizamabad tehsil

3.0053 hectares of land in Lohara village located in Atraulia block of Budhanpur tehsil

3.0083 hectares of land in Bashi Ashrafpur of Pawai block of Phulpur tehsil

1,500 students will be admitted in each school. The target has been set to provide high quality education in these schools, especially to the children of economically weaker sections. In these schools, students will get the opportunity for technical, digital and scientific education as well as holistic development. About Rs 25 crore will be spent on the construction of these schools for each school. The schools will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including:-

Smart classrooms

Machine learning based teaching system

All these schools are being built keeping in mind the guidelines of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020). 30 classrooms will be built in each school and they will be connected to digital learning platforms, so that students can be connected to the contemporary education system. This effort of the government is a strong step towards bringing fundamental changes in the education sector. This scheme will not only provide a better learning environment to the students, but children from rural areas will also be provided opportunities similar to urban education facilities.
