Although there was some respite on Friday, when the temperature dropped to 41.9 degrees, the heat’s effects persisted.
In the meantime, the nighttime temperature has also risen, making people’s problems much worse. Friday night’s low temperature in Lucknow was 30.2 degrees, which is almost 3° warmer than usual.
Light rain may begin to fall in certain parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, according to the Meteorological Department. The entire region is probably going to experience this rain gradually. Rain may start to fall in the western areas on Monday, and its effects will be more noticeable on Sunday.Next week, there is a chance of rain throughout the entire state.
According to senior meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh, Moradabad and the neighboring districts experienced good rain on Friday, which caused the temperature to drop by six degrees. There could be mild to moderate rain in roughly 22 regions of the state on Saturday.
However, several districts continue to experience hot conditions. In 11 areas, where the temperature is expected to stay between 42 and 44 degrees, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange notice. Beginning on Monday, there is a chance of rain and high winds in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
Gorakhpur, Basti, Ambedkarnagar, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Mau, Ballia, Gonda, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Barabanki, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Deoria, Azamgarh, Amroha, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Kanpur, Jaunpur, Lucknow, and the Meteorological Department claims that, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds from 16 to 20 June. Monsoon is expected to become active from 20 June.
With a reported temperature of 45 degrees Celsius on Friday, Agra was the state’s hottest district. In Jhansi, Banda, and Hamirpur, the temperature rose to 44.9, 44.6, and 44.2 degrees, respectively. The heat wave in Lucknow, Varanasi, Kanpur, Bahraich, and many other areas is causing a lot of hardships for the people.
