If everything goes well, this national highway will be six lanes by the year 2027. Due to this, people will be able to reach their destination a little faster and the process has also been started.
Work on the Sitapur highway will be started within the next one year. The special thing will be that the journey that currently takes two hours to reach Sitapur from Lucknow. It will take only one to one and a quarter hours because the speed of vehicles will increase.
Along with this, the jams that occur due to traffic will ease. In the widening of the highway, some houses and shops on the outskirts of the towns may come under the purview of widening. However, the notification regarding this is yet to be issued.
The National Highways Authority of India would like that as few people’s houses, shops and lands come under the purview of six-lane highway construction.
