UP: 11.5 km long bypass approved, will cost Rs 19 crore

The road network in India is a very important element, which plays a vital role in the social and economic development of the country. Nowadays the network of roads in the country is continuously expanding, which is not only connecting the cities but is also helping in connecting the rural areas to the mainstream.

Roads have an important place in the country because it is one of the cheapest and easiest means of transportation. Goods and people are transported through roads, which drives economic activities in every region. It is essential for various sectors like trade, industry, education, health and tourism. The bypass to be built outside the city will not only facilitate traffic but will also give wings to development. People will be able to do business by opening shops on both sides of the bypass. People of the area will get employment. Along with this, the city will also expand. People will move forward on the path of development and progress. Approval has been given for the construction of an 11.5 km long bypass connecting Uttaraula and Ayodhya road without entering Gonda city from Balrampur Highway.

With this, people will be able to go directly to Shaktipeeth Devipatan and the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram from outside the city. This facility will also provide relief from the hassle of traffic jams as the pressure of vehicles within the city will be reduced. The government has approved Rs 56 crore 34 lakh 87 thousand for the construction of the bypass. Rs 19 crore 72 lakh has been released as the first installment. As soon as the government’s letter was issued regarding the construction of the bypass, people were happy. Gonda MP and Union Minister of State for External Affairs Kirtivardhan Singh and others expressed happiness by making the letter viral. Pradeep said that now the city will expand further. The construction of the bypass will reduce the traffic pressure within the city.

This project was started to improve the quality of national highways of India and to expand them. Under this, there is a plan to build good and wide roads between major cities and villages. Superintendent Engineer of Public Works Department Yogendra Singh says that the government has released funds for the construction of the bypass. Now the tender process has to be done. The process of building the bypass will be started soon. Instructions have been given to the Executive Engineer of Construction Block 2. Public representatives and officials made a lot of efforts regarding the needs of the bypass in the city. After a lot of correspondence, the government has given approval for the construction of the bypass. Joint Secretary of the Government Rajesh Pratap Singh has sent a letter to the Chief Engineer Development and Head of the Department of Public Works Department for this, in which there is a mention of administrative and financial approval for the construction of 11.600 km long bypass.

The bypass will start from Gonda-Balrampur highway near Pandari Kripal village and will connect to Gonda-Ayodhya road near Ummedjot ahead of Parag Dairy via Gonda-Utraula road. The construction of the bypass will make movement of people easier. Those going to Shaktipeeth Devipatan and Ayodhya for darshan and worship of Lord Shri Ram will get convenience in movement. A bypass will be built from Gonda-Balrampur road through Pandari Kripal, Kandharateji, Turkadiha, Turkaulia, Dhanauli, Soni Harlal, Majhwa, Bahlolpur, Ummedjot villages. This scheme was started to build roads in rural areas. So that the villagers can be connected to the mainstream and their lifestyle can be improved.
