However, according to reliable sources of BJP, the party high command is not seriously thinking about the name of the state president and there are many reasons for this.In fact, the current president of BJP in UP, Bhupendra Chaudhary, got the responsibility in August 2022.
His formal name was also announced on 25 August 2022. That is, Bhupendra Chaudhary’s tenure is still about four months left.For this reason, the party does not want to take any hasty decision regarding UP, nor is the high command considering it seriously right now.
However, before this, the party high command seems to be in the mood to take a decision first regarding ‘Team Delhi’ i.e. the national president and all the big posts related to the organization.

Delay in announcing the name of UP BJP president…
Till the situation regarding ‘Team Delhi’ becomes clear in the party, BJP will not take any decisive decision in the matter of UP and no indication of this has been given by the high command till now.
The party has not yet given any indication to the leaders whose names are being discussed for the post of president, nor have they been given any messages from the high command.In such a situation, all these leaders are also assuming that there may be a delay in the announcement of the name of the UP BJP president.
If reliable sources are to be believed, the party may make an announcement regarding the post of president around July or a decisive decision in the case of UP is likely to be taken only after ‘Team Delhi’ is finalized.Before this, the party does not seem to be in the mood to take any major decision regarding Uttar Pradesh.
After the results of the last Lok Sabha elections, there was serious brainstorming in the party about UP. After the loss suffered by BJP in the last elections, the party is now not in a hurry to take any decision regarding UP.
