The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has welcomed the decision of the Central Government to conduct caste census. He said that this decision is a historic step towards ensuring social balance and justice.

CM Yogi said that availability of caste based data will help the government understand which class needs assistance at what level. This will enable schemes to be made in a more effective and result-oriented manner.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has welcomed the decision to conduct caste census and called it an unprecedented decision. Giving his reaction to this decision, CM Yogi has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reacting to this, CM Yogi has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Describing this step as linked to the principle of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ and ‘Sabka Vishwas’, the Chief Minister said that transparency of data is the foundation of the success of social schemes.

Let us tell you that in the Union Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, the Central Government decided to conduct caste census. The census was to be held in 2021 but it was postponed due to Corona. CM Yogi also said that the Uttar Pradesh government is already committed to the welfare of the poor and deprived sections.

The caste census will give further impetus to those efforts. Political experts believe that this move will not only promote social justice but can also bring revolutionary changes in the direction and policy making of upcoming schemes.

Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas is a major and overarching slogan of the Government of India. It was first introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014. This slogan has become a symbol of the country’s development policy and inclusive approach.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also mentions this slogan from time to time and says that the Uttar Pradesh government is working for the welfare of every citizen without any discrimination.

On this occasion, he said that the decision of the CCPA under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to include caste census in the upcoming census in the overall interest of 140 crore countrymen is unprecedented and welcome.

This is a decisive initiative towards giving proper recognition to the deprived, backward and neglected classes and ensuring their proper participation in government schemes.

The Chief Minister said that caste based data will not only strengthen policy making but will also empower those sections of the society which have been left behind till now. This decision further strengthens Prime Minister Modi’s resolve of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas.

Yogi also said that the Uttar Pradesh government has already been giving priority to social justice. The schemes being run for the poor, backward and Dalits are part of this thinking. Caste census will help in improving these schemes further.

Political analysts believe that this stance of Yogi Adityanath gives a strong message in the politics of social balance.His unequivocal support on a sensitive issue like caste census shows that the government wants to make policy making more effective by acknowledging social realities.
