Due to this, the buses of the Transport Corporation do not stop in the premises, due to which the people of this area were facing a lot of problems. Now the administration has provided five crore rupees for this as well. This has raised hopes of improvement in the transport system. The district was formed in the year 1997.
Since then people have been demanding a bus depot. Many times the administration has marked land for this and sent a proposal to the government, but every time some obstacle comes in the way.Due to this, people had to wait for buses under the open sky, facing the brunt of the weather, at the temporary bus stand built on Mendhwal bypass for about 27 years.
Meanwhile, the administration marked land near Mirganj for the bus depot and workshop of the Transport Corporation and got it registered in the name of the Transport Corporation in the Khatauni.
After the land hurdle was cleared, the administration sent a proposal to the government, after which a budget of Rs 15 crore was made available after its approval. Along with this, Mukhalispur bus station has also become very dilapidated.
The main reason for the delay in construction work is the buses not being shifted to the depot temporarily. However, now this process has been approved and the construction work has gained momentum. Iron pillars and structures are being prepared.
Due to which the speed of the project has improved. The construction of the roadways bus stand is an important step for the passengers which will give them a better and convenient travel experience.
