To speed up new railway projects in Uttar Pradesh, land acquisition of 29 villages has been completed. This will speed up the construction of the new railway line from Ghughli to Anandnagar via Maharajganj in Maharajganj district.
A total of 53 km long railway line will be built for this project, which will pass through 57 villages. So far the process of land acquisition has been completed in 29 villages. And Rs 2.5 billion has been released as compensation.

Completion of this project will connect Maharajganj district to the railway network. This will help in regional development and local people will get better transport facilities. Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state of India.

The path to build the proposed Anandnagar-Maharajganj-Ghughli railway line has become easier.Now the railway has got the land of 29 villages. After this the further process will start rapidly. In recent years many new railway lines have been announced in Uttar Pradesh.
Also the existing single lines are being doubled.This is making it possible to increase both the speed and number of trains. On the other hand, people are also angry about compensation. Recently, people submitted a memorandum to the ADM and demanded compensation distribution.
On the other hand, officials of the railway department say that in the first phase of this project, the acquired land will be demarcated first so that the boundary of the railway can be clear.
After this, soil filling, levelling and necessary construction work will be started. Under this, bridges and underpasses falling in the route of the railway line will be constructed. So that traffic and drainage can run smoothly.
Modernization of stations, social and economic impact
With the expansion of railways, rural areas are being connected to urban centers. This is making access to education, health and employment opportunities easier. Along with this, local businesses are also getting a bigger market.
According to the information, a new 52.70 km long railway line is to be laid from Ghughli to Anandnagar via Maharajganj in the district. Under this project, the land of the affected farmers in 29 villages was acquired in the first phase by the Land Acquisition Department and the Railway Department.Under this, a total of 698 plots of land was acquired.
This includes 98.9394 hectares of land belonging to 3897 farmers. A total amount of Rs 4,34,05,25,699 was declared as awarded by the Railways to compensate the affected farmers.In this, an amount of Rs 3,11,22,64,533 has been distributed as compensation to the farmers.
Revenue Inspector of Land Acquisition Department, Rakesh Chandra told that in Sadar Tehsil Munderi, Ghaghraua Khadesar, Jogia, Rampur Baldiha, Matkopa, Barwa, Chamainia, Ghughli Khurd, Dharampur, Vishnupur Gabdua, Pipraich alias Pachrukhia, Lakshmipur, Harpur, Shikarpur, Bhiswa, Darauli, Barwa Vidyapati, Padri Khurd, Siswa Babu, Maniyar Chhapra, Rampur Majuhana, Agaya, Tarkulwa, Gaunriya Babu, Kodaila, Bans Par, Baijouli, Savna and Pipardeura the acquisition process has been completed in these villages.
After taking consent letters from the farmers of these villages, the certificate of rights has been handed over to the Railways.
