The process of land acquisition for the new railway line scheme has started in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, the Railway Ministry has approved crores of rupees for this scheme. The process of land acquisition and compensation will be improved soon.
The construction of a new railway line began
In Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur district, the land acquisition process for the new Anandnagar-Maharajganj-Ghughli railway line is now accelerating. For this building project, the government has been given Rs 383 crore by the railway administration.
But now, the 70-hectare land acquisition process will soon be finished. In the meantime, the 160-hectare land acquisition process has begun, with a goal of finishing it by the end of the fiscal year.
The new railway line was built during this time, cutting the 42-kilometer journey from Gonda to Ghughli via the routes of Anand Nagar and Maharajganj rather than Gorakhpur city. It will traverse 230 hectares of land, passing through roughly 53 communities.
Wherein a new railway line of 57.7 km has been sanctioned for construction at a cost of Rs 958.27 crore. There will be two stages to this construction project. In the first phase, the railway line will be sold from Ghunghli to Maharajganj; in the second phase, it will be sold from Maharajganj to Anand Nagar.
Talks about land acquisition and compensation distribution
Currently, this project is planning 26 bridges in total. it has one broad bridge. In addition, seven stations, 46 underpasses, eight minor bridges, and a ROB are planned. Two stations will undergo renovations during this time.
Four halt stations and one crossing station will be built. The completion of this new railway line is anticipated by 2027.
The region’s railways are establishing new dimensions in tandem with the construction of infrastructure. The railway line project’s land acquisition work via Anandnagar Maharajganj Ghaghuli is currently proceeding quickly.
The Maharajganj district headquarters will be connected to the train head during the railway line’s construction, and alternate routes are being considered to link the states from the north to the northeast.
In addition to enhancing regional connections, the government’s goal to finish this project would stimulate the local economy. It is anticipated that the Railway Ministry and the State Government will work together to ensure the project is finished on schedule.
