The Public Works Department in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district has now planned to widen the road from Laxmi Nagar to Saadabad by 10 meters in accordance with directives from the state government.
A plan of Rs. 50 crores for its construction was produced during this time by the departmental officers and submitted to the government. The construction process will begin quickly after receiving approval.
According to the officials’ research, the Yogi Adityanath administration of Uttar Pradesh has been directing the department to enlarge the highway on a regular basis, but they also requested suggestions from the department.
However, a proposal to widen just one road has now been sent by the Public Works Department. Currently, Dauji Road will connect Laxmi Nagar and Sadabahar. Its fixed length is around 25 kilometers. Now a stretch of 17 kilometers falls under the district border.
The local economy will grow
This road will now be widened as planned by the Public Works Department, which will facilitate travel for pilgrims and tourists visiting Mathura and Vrindavan.
It has been reported that the construction project will save a significant amount of time for both the local population and bystanders. Considering the present and the future, the masons had to deal with the issue of jamming because the path was narrow.
The commuters had to deal with a great deal of stress because of the hours-long traffic jams that used to occur here. According to Assistant Engineer VD Sharma, the plan to construct this road has been in the works for a while.
An initial investment of about Rs. 50 crores would be made to widen this route. A plan has been created and forwarded to the government level, he added. Construction will proceed more quickly after receiving official approval.
