UP: Train routes changed, passengers are dare problems being cancellation of trains

Indian Railways, which was once called the lifeline of the country, is today itself running on the track of struggles. On one hand, there is talk of expansion and modernization of the railway network. On the other hand, the ground reality tells something else.Delay in trains, cancellation without notice and lack of basic facilities have made the journey of passengers miserable.

Passengers’ problems increased due to cancellation of 20 trains

Every day hundreds of trains across the country are running late by hours. Many times passengers keep waiting for hours at the station. But no clear information is received. When people travelling for marriage, interview, medical appointment or other important work are not able to reach on time.

So not just the train, their dreams also get delayed. These days, due to the wedding season, the pressure on trains has increased. Due to the mega block going on in Gorakhpur, 20 trains are being cancelled till the first week of May.

On the other hand, 14 trains are being run by diverting their routes. In such a situation, the pressure on the remaining trains has increased. Meanwhile, trains are also running late. On Sunday, 17 trains made people wait for six hours.

In many trains, even the reserved coaches are overcrowded. Dirty toilets, unavailability of drinking water and unsafe travel have made the condition of passengers miserable. From ticket counters to online booking, technical problems and corruption have become a common complaint everywhere.

It is often seen that track repairs or other technical work is done without prior notice. Due to which trains are stopped mid-way. The Railway Ministry has recently said that there are plans to introduce new high-speed trains and underground routes.But the question arises that when the existing system itself is not working properly, then how stable will the new structure be.

Trains were delayed for 6 hours, their route was changed

Indian Railways is the largest transport system in the country. But until passenger comfort and safety are given top priority, it will not be just a train but will remain a bad service. There is a need for strict monitoring, transparency and taking passenger experience seriously.

Due to the cancellation of 20 trains passing through Lucknow and Bareilly, passengers are not getting confirmed tickets in the remaining trains. Although the railways have started operating summer special trains, these are also a victim of delays. Due to this, passengers are facing problems.

Due to pressure on trains, unreserved passengers are entering even AC class coaches. There are complaints of male passengers occupying women’s coaches as well. Passengers are facing a double whammy due to delay in trains during the summer season.

Meanwhile, complaints of AC not working in trains have also started increasing. 15128-27 Kashi Vishwanath Express arrived two and five hours late. 12584 Double Decker Express, which usually runs on time, also made us wait for two hours.

15910 Avadh-Assam Express was delayed by four hours and 12571 Humsafar Express was delayed by three hours. 12036 Poornagiri Janshatabdi Express was delayed by one hour and 14207 Padmavat Express was delayed by two hours.

Superfast 22420 Suheldev Express was delayed by one hour, 13020 Bagh Express was delayed by two hours and 15274 Anand Vihar-Raxaul Express made people wait for six hours.14242 Nauchandi Express was delayed by one hour, 14312 Ala Hazrat Express by three hours, 12204 Saharsa Garib Rath Express, 12588 Amarnath Express by two hours each, 12392 Shramjeevi Express, 12328 Upasana Express by one hour each and 13010 Doon Express was delayed by two hours.
