Local people are happy as green field four lane road schemes have been approved in various states of UP. Traffic pressure on cities will be reduced and regional development will be promoted. This scheme will now facilitate transportation and improve economic and social development.
Four lane expressway gets approval
The second phase of the ring road scheme will be shown to the people in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh in a few days. Now, after a long wait of almost 7 years, vehicles will not have to take the ring road of Banaras to go to Bihar and Bengal via Ghazipur, Nepal, Ballia and Gorakhpur via Chandauli.
Also, the construction of a new green field four-lane road from Zamania Ghazipur to Syedraja has now been completed. This scheme will completely reduce the load of vehicles from the ring road and Banaras to the district. The current road is 7 meters wide from Ghazipur to Syedraja via Zamania Road.
The problem of traffic jams is becoming increasingly severe due to the large volume of traffic. Meanwhile, the National Highways Authority of India has started the work of land acquisition to build a new green field highway of about 42 kilometers.
Villagers also benefit during the construction work
Approval has been received for an amount of about 29 crore rupees. The construction work will now be completed with Rs 1684 crore, the remaining amount will be spent on buying land. Now you can buy 260 hectares of land. More than 30 villages and farmers can be affected by this.
Work on the detailed project report has started. Now consent has been received to connect four villages around Chandauli near Kolkata, Ranchi and Varanasi to the green field expressway in the first and second phases. For this, a new service road is being constructed and orders have also been given to start inspection.
The idea of constructing rural service lanes in four villages Basera and Khurhuja, Chanhata and Sikandarpur in the areas settled around two rivers, Chandraprabha and Garai in Chandauli has been going on for a long time.In this case, the local people want their village to be directly connected to the expressway or else all the villages will be facing floods for years.
