UP:Railway line will pass through the villages of Maharajganj district

The process of land acquisition for the construction of the proposed new railway line in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh is in the final stage. Under this project, a long railway line will be laid from Anandnagar to Ghughli via Maharajganj. This will improve the connectivity of the area and promote local development.

Award issued for land acquisition in 11 villages

For this project, the process of land acquisition of 29 villages has been completed in the first phase. Now the process of land acquisition of 11 additional villages is in the final stage. A total of 13.14 hectares of land will be acquired in these villages.

The process of publishing the gazette for land acquisition will be completed soon. This will speed up the construction work. The necessary process is being completed for the proposed railway route Maharajganj Anandnagar-Maharajganj-Ghughli.

The process of acquiring additional land has been started in 11 villages. Earlier, land has been acquired in 29 villages. Additional land is coming under the purview of the railway route. Keeping this in mind, the process is being completed.

Farmers affected by land acquisition will be given proper compensation. In the first phase, a total compensation of Rs 105 crore was distributed to 444 farmers. Now the affected farmers of these 11 villages will also be compensated.

So that their livelihood is not affected and they can take advantage of new opportunities. Four decimals of land has come under the purview of railways.The compensation being given is less.

The rate of land should be given as per the market price. Compensation is being given as per agricultural land, this is not fair. The process of land acquisition is going on for the construction of a new railway line in the district.

Partial land is required. For this, land will be acquired in 11 more villages. Award is being prepared for this. The entire process is being constantly monitored to maintain transparency. There is one acre 25 decimal land within the purview of the railway.

At another place, 40 decimals and a house have also come under the purview. There is no transparency in giving compensation. It is being said that compensation for the house will be given at agricultural rates, while the land is in the urban area. Partial land will be acquired at some places to lay the railway track.

This includes 0.5255 hectares in Ghughli Khurd, 0.5039 hectares in Ghaghraua Khadesar, 1.3250 hectares in Rampur Baldiha, 0.1957 hectares in Matkopa, 1.5207 hectares in Barwa Chamania, 1.4256 hectares in Pipra Munderi, 1.4356 hectares in Pipraich alias Pacharukhia, 0.1582 hectares in Pipraich alias Pacharukhia Harpur,1.8051 hectares of land will be acquired in Vishunpur Gabdua, 1.6456 hectares in Dharampur and 3.5983 hectares in Laxmipur. The process for this is underway.

At the same time, under the second phase of the project, the process of land acquisition has started in nine new villages. The land of the affected farmers is being surveyed in these villages.In this, the area of ​​fields and plots is being determined. After the survey, land ownership certificate, Khatauni, Aadhar card and other necessary documents will be sought from the farmers.

Will play an important role in the development of the district

Officials of the Land Acquisition Department say that the documents submitted for compensation in these villages are being examined. It is being seen whether the concerned land is currently with the same farmers or they have sold it to someone.

To know the truth of the documents, detailed information is being collected from the archives office at the departmental level. In the second phase, land acquisition is proposed in nine new villages.

These include 0.8198 hectares in Rudrapur, 3.2360 hectares in Rudauli Bhavchak, 4.8784 hectares in Siswa Amhava, 8.0467 hectares in Pakri Nauniya, 1.1334 hectares in Ramhauli, 6.4227 hectares in Kandh, 3.5900 hectares in Pipra Rasoolpur.The process of land acquisition is underway for 23.4341 hectares (the maximum) in Jungle Dudhai alias Chehri and 11.0461 hectares in Farenda Tehsil area.

According to information, the process of land acquisition is progressing rapidly under the proposed new rail line project in the district. A total plan to lay a 52.70 km long rail track from Ghughli to Maharajganj-Anandnagar is proposed.For this, a total of 194 hectares of land from 57 villages has to be acquired. Under the project, in the first phase, the process of land acquisition has been completed in 29 villages of the Sadar tehsil area of ​​the district.

To lay the railway line, some more land is required in many places apart from the land already acquired. For this, the Land Acquisition Department and the Railway Department re-evaluated the land.Based on this new assessment, it was decided that some land from 11 additional villages is also needed for the project. The process for this has been started.

Before this, in the second phase, the process of land acquisition is already underway in nine other villages, where the work of matching the plots, area and location of the affected farmers is being done.According to officials of the Land Acquisition Department, a demand of Rs 200 crore has been made from the Railway Department to distribute compensation to the affected farmers of nine new villages and 11 additional villages. Out of this, an amount of Rs 82 crore has been received so far.

As soon as the process is completed, action will be taken to obtain the required documents.After this, the process of compensation distribution will be started. According to Rakesh Chandra Kendre, Revenue Inspector of Land Acquisition Department, communication is being established with all the affected farmers falling under the purview of railway line construction.
