The paperwork has started for the construction of an over bridge at railway crossing number four special located at the southern end of Indira Junction in Mau district of UP. The selection process has been expedited by issuing tenders for this process by the implementing agency on behalf of Northeast Railway Gorakhpur.
Now there are indications of the start of work on Madhuban Mau Indira Nagar Over Bridge. Top railway officials have given this information to the people with the hope of getting rid of the problem of traffic jam in Indira soon. There is a wave of happiness among the local people regarding this.
On the initiative of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Urban Development and Energy Minister AK Sharma, the construction of a railway overbridge was approved a few years ago on February 11, 2022.
Along with this, the foundation stone of this railway overbridge to be built by the Modi government at a cost of Rs 64.65 crore was also laid through virtual medium.After this, the Railway Gorakhpur engineers are busy finalizing the outline and map of the construction of the railway overbridge.
Services will get relief, jam problem will be solved
Officials of North Eastern Railway said that due to the movement of trains on this route, there was frequent traffic jam, due to which local residents and passengers had to face a lot of problems.
The construction of an over bridge will solve this problem and the citizens will feel comfortable and the traffic system in the area will improve. It is expected that after the completion of this project, the local people will get great relief. This problem has been going on for the past several days.
But in a meeting held a few days ago, a plan was made to build this overbridge, this will also contribute to regional development. After that, the engineers of Northeast Railway will prepare the outline and map for the construction of Gorakhpur Railway Overbridge and soon the construction process will be completed.
After the construction agencies have filled and submitted the tender, the tender has now been opened. At present, the construction agency is busy examining the tender. According to information received from railway sources, the construction agency has also been selected.
After the approval of the Railway General Manager, its official notification will be issued in a few days. Departmental officers will start the work in full swing with preparations to start the work in the month of June at any cost.
