UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024 topper Shakti Dubey reached the Police Headquarters in Lucknow on Saturday, where she praised the arrangements made by the Uttar Pradesh Police. In particular, she praised the functioning of the police during the Kumbh Mela.
During the meeting with the DGP, Shakti Dubey also expressed his frank opinion on the internal security of the country, women empowerment and India-Pakistan relations.
Shakti Dubey said on the ongoing conflict with Pakistan that India has been battling terrorism for years and now India is following the strategy of giving a strong and precise reply. He clearly said that any kind of dialogue is not possible with terrorism.Unless Pakistan curbs terrorism from its soil, any kind of contact with it is not appropriate.
In response to a question on women empowerment, Shakti Dubey said that India stands in a strong position today and this is also evident from the fact that women in the country are moving ahead strongly in every field.
He said, “In our country, not only men but women are also very empowered and ready to face every challenge.”Shakti Dubey, a resident of Prayagraj, credited his mother for his success.
He said that his father is a sub-inspector in the police department and due to his duty, he was transferred from one city to another.In such a situation, his mother played a very important role in maintaining the stability of his studies. Shakti clearly said that it was not possible to achieve this position without the support, patience and dedication of his mother.
She told that she graduated in Biochemistry from Allahabad University and then prepared for UPSC from BHU. During this too she had to face many difficulties, but she did not give up and kept working hard.
While talking to the children of policemen living in Lucknow Police Line, Shakti Dubey also gave some special tips to the students preparing for UPSC.
He said that first of all understand the syllabus deeply and study from limited but reliable sources only. It is wrong to start studying without planning, so go ahead with a good strategy.
He also stressed that patience and consistency are the real keys to this exam. If these two things are kept in mind, success will definitely be achieved.
