Regular bus operations have once again started from the newly constructed bus stand in Badalpur area of Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh. This has caused a lot of enthusiasm among passengers and local residents.

This bus station built in Sarokhanpur village was formally inaugurated four months ago. Some bus services were started from here on the occasion of Maha Kumbh bath, but the operations were stopped after some time. Now, after a gap of about two months, regular bus operations have once again been started from here.

Akhilesh Sharma has also been appointed as the in-charge of the enquiry centre, due to which passengers are expected to get better information and facilities.

Now roadways buses going from Varanasi to Lucknow, Lucknow to Varanasi and Sultanpur are passing through Badalpur bus stand. Due to this, people of nearby rural areas like Sarokhanpur, Ghanshyampur, Muradpur etc. will not have to go far to the city for transportation.

However, a big problem has emerged that the road leading to the bus stand from the national highway is very narrow, due to which there is a possibility of jam and accidents. Bus drivers have to face problems on this route every day.

Giving information on this subject, ARM Mamta Dubey of Jaunpur Depot has said that The operation of all the buses of Jaunpur Depot is now being ensured through Badalpur Bus Station. This step has been taken by the department keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers.

The local people have demanded from the government to widen the road and provide basic facilities like toilets, drinking water, seating arrangements etc. at the bus stand.

This new bus stand of Badlapur is an important step towards strengthening the regional transport system. If the administration pays attention to the road and basic facilities, then this bus stand can become the lifeline of rural areas.
