Panchayat elections in Uttarakhand have been announced by the State Election Commission. With the exception of Haridwar and metropolitan areas, the entire state has also adopted the code of conduct. There will be two phases to the panchayat elections, and on July 19, the results will be announced following the vote count.

Understand every aspect, from nomination to vote counting

The State Election Commission states that nominations can be submitted until June 28 and that notifications for the first and second phases will be sent out on June 25. Nomination papers will be examined between June 29 and July 1.

Nominations can thereafter be withdrawn on July 2 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Candidates will receive their election symbols between 8 a.m. and the close of business on July 3. The first phase of voting will then take place on July 10 and the second phase on July 15.On July 19, the outcomes of both phases will be announced. Vote counting will begin at 8 a.m.
